Global warming is a big problem, i saw an inconvenient truth, and i realize a lot of people like George Bush feel that a exxon mobile workers job and the current energyburning economy is by far more important the the entire stableness of the planet. What do you think? I dont want any stupid answers like stephen colbert always satirely says. You be fine but the polar bears drowning arent, the people flooding arent, while the people with droughts arent eiher.

hmmm, money or the planet???? hmmm..?

I'm new to this and noticed as I read along, how we all have differences/unique issues we all encounter. In different ways than others, but in essence the same goal - to cope or resolve questions that linger... I love to live in the moment and to the fullest, but once in a blue moon, I'll think about my purpose and in the end... where exactly will all this lead to. I guess what I want to know is... If you could put in one word... What is it exactly that motivates you to live up to your expectations for yourself?

it hasn't, and never will change a mans perception. A man will always stare at the womens chest (if they are ample) no matter what her position, no matter how much money she makes. He will always forget her birthday and their anniversary date. He will always think she cannot drive. He will always avoid her when she is pmsing it. He will always tune her out after about 20 minutes of -whatever she just got done talking about?

I have been living with roommates before. Now I live alone since 2 months and it has completely changed my personality. I lost appetite, can't sleep, my thoughts are muddled. I do everything slower. Lost concentration. Lost motivation.
Is this the person who I really am ?

I see this poor lady walking everyday and she looks like she wants to blow her brains out. I bet it is a reason why men in their 30's and 40's avoid relationships with older women.

O.K. My girlfriend finished with me on Sunday, things had been going downhill anyway, and the stress of it all had caused me to have an eating disorder which I told her about, & said i was seeing a doctor bout it,she felt 'we' couldnt continue. We had dated 4 a year. She said she didnt want me contacting her, & that she wanted 2 weeks. I spoke to her today, she said that for my sake, 2 weeks was best to get over her,& then we'd have to see what happened. I said, in 2 weeks, if I ask u out 4 a drink as friends, would u want2?She said that it'd depend on how 'I (Not her!)' felt, bcos it isn't always easy..... the thing is....i still like her,& i know if I cured my prob, she may hav me bak,but i doubt it. so questions...has anyone had a situation lyk ths?is it best to meet her aftr 2 weeks, wht shud i say?shud i just never speak 2her again?
please can i have some long answers! if i didnt ever meet/talk again, would i feel worse, than if i met her4drink.are there essentials2feel b4meet?

Noting unrestrained governmental spending and not enough taxes to keep up, it seems that inflation will rule. If the Federal Reserve keeps on printing more and more paper, isn't it inevitable that the dollar collapses and a worldwide depression takes over?

Similar headlines in the news today surfaced around the stock markets oversea's in China being down 8.8%....is this spelling out a change in who the world economic leader is, because it doesn't seem to be the U.S. anymore? Being as the U.S. owes China so much money, and the drop in their stock market rippled over into the US market it would seem China is the worlds economy.

I was just wondering exactly how real are lucid dreams? I've never had one, but I'm trying now. Do they stick in your mind like real memories, or do they fade like normal dreams? When you walk around, to all your senses work (taste, touch, hearing) and do you feel like you have weight? If you make the dream last two days (I've heard that it's possible), does it actually feel like you've been asleep that long? Sorry for all the questions! Thanks!
