I have been living with roommates before. Now I live alone since 2 months and it has completely changed my personality. I lost appetite, can't sleep, my thoughts are muddled. I do everything slower. Lost concentration. Lost motivation.
Is this the person who I really am ?

That's interesting. I think you are just going through a time where you are missing having people around all the time. It takes time to learn to enjoy living alone, but once you do, it's the best, most peaceful way to live really. Spend time working on your place and on yourself. For the first time you have place that is totally yours and you can express yourself through the way you decorate it. Take time doing things you could never do when you had roomates! Seriously, you will learn to love it, I think. Give yourself some time to adjust. If you find this feeling getting worse or not going away then you need to see a Dr for depression. I think you'll be just fine.

Let me ask you this: Have you ever lived by YOURSELF before? If not, that might be why your experiencing these "ruts," so to speak. You may have grown attached to those whom you have lived with, and now it is a whole different ball park. I say take it easy, try not to think about the fact that it's just you. Maybe get a pet, find a new hobby, take more time out to spend it with those you love. Schedule times to meet up with friends, that way your not always stuck at your place alone. Hope this helped some! Let me know!

It is still you, just that without intelligent life communication, you are dormant, or that you are a lonely shell of who you really are.
