This request, dated 10 July 1997, is in respect of the imposition of anti-dumping duties by the US on imports of colour television receivers (CTVs) from Korea. Korea contends that the US has for the past twelve years maintained an anti-dumping order for Samsung’s CTVs despite the absence of dumping and the cessation of exports from Korea, without examining the necessity of continuing to impose such duties.

anyone here a psychologist that i can talk to? like literally, spill out everything, and provide me with feedback. i'm a highschool kid, and i am seriously thinking about suicide. i don't want to go to a psychologist, becuase they will tell my mom everything that i tell them. i just want to get through this "highschool emo stage" of life, but there are so many things that make me sooo sad, i just can't concentrate on my hw, because my thoughts always diverge. please, let this be an opportunity to actually help someone on YahooAnswers, not just worrying about the 2 points that you will gain.

What does this sentence mean? I am having a hard time understanding it.

"A person's comparison level (CL) is the threshold above which an outcomes seems attractive."

It is for a communication theory class. We are currently talking about Social Penetration Theory and Social Exchange Theory, (if that helps any.)
Please only answer if you know for sure.

This forum serves as a constant reminder of the incredible ignorance and stupidity so many people display about economic issues. Is that a tangible problem? Would it make any improvement in the economy itself if the people within it had an informed, rational mastery of mainstream free market economics? Or, at the micro level do individuals still behave rationally despite all the idiotic things they believe and say?

Example: so many people have a fear and loathing of "worthless" fiat paper money. Yet I'm guessing these same people are happy to get their hands on this worthless paper money and even work 8 or 10 hours a day to acquire as much of it as they can.

I'm curious to see what answers the women give on this. When looking at a guy, how fat does he have to be to be "too fat" (please define as best as possible)?

At the same time, when is a guy sexiest or most attractive to you as a woman?

My boyfriend (who is 24) of almost a year mentioned to me (I am 22) last night that our sexual chemistry together is off the charts, and I agreed, stating that it was a wonderful complement to the other great parts of our relationship, and he agreed with me.

Then, he looked me straight in the eye, pulled my face toward his, and said really seriously and softly, "I can see myself having sex with, and only you, for the rest of my life."

Of course, I thought this was incredibly sweet and romantic, and I would never question his sincerity. I suppose my question, then, is:

Does this imply anything? From what I know, for most men, it is a HUGE wall to overcome, realizing that if they marry a woman, they will not be having sex with anyone but her for the rest of their lives. Thus, I am curious, is this a sign that he is considering something a bit more serious (ie: proposing?) for our relationship?

Constructive advice is very much appreciated!

does this boggle your mind, or is it just mine? when the outcome of our universe comes, whether it be the "big crunch" (where all the galaxies are compressd together forming a giant black hole), or whether the galaxies keep moving away from each other, which will result in all the stars dying out making it a cold and dark place. what will happen to the human race? will there be nothing? someone please help me understand this..

I have had dreadlocks for almost four years now, and i want to get rid of them. I want them gone mainly for a better self image, so i dont carry sterotypes and so people dont think i am disgusting and dont bathe. Ive had them for too long and i am ready, i am just really attached. I understand there are self-help books on letting go out lost loves, but how about letting go of things in your everday life? I want something long and extensive that will really make me feel comfortable about letting go

and yes, i want them gone. I am ready for them to be gone.

Its funny every time I go on Yahoo answers and see people complaining about it being “a white man’s world” and say they deserve more and better then what they have with out realizing white men worked hard and earned everything they got. Of course there are gonna be some angry people posting here trying to deny the truth but it is not a coincidence that the nicest and best countries to live in tend to be created and ran by white men. And lets be honest the majority of the most important inventions used today that everyone loves so much like Planes, cars, television, computers, phones, the internet, light bulbs, motion pictures, photography, assembly line, ect(I could go on for hours) was once again create by white males. What’s really annoying is when white males create a company and invention, they work hard to make it a success like Boeing, Microsoft, Dell, ect, and then non white males demand they hire them and give them high profile or executive jobs like they are owed something. Imagine white men making the same demands to a company owned by a bunch of minorities, imagine all the crying and whining they would be doing.

And before those who say that its cause of colonialism that white males are so successful, I would like to mention that Northern Africans, Arabs, and Mongolians colonized and oppressed white people before, yet we never made it an excuse for our short comings and we freed ourselves and worked hard to become a success.

And for those who say its because of slavery, I say the majority of countries have had slavery in its passed but obviously it had nothing to do with how successful it is now. Look at Brazil, Mexico, the Caribbean, the Middle East, Africa, ect. All had slavery yet none of these countries are extremely successful today.

So why do people think white men owe, have to give up, or have to share what they’ve created? And how many will tell the truth and admit white males have earned their success?

Why?
How did it start?
How many times have you tried to quit it?
Do you think your mind has deterioted somewhat since being on Yahoo Answers?
What is the longest you have stayed on it in one 24 hour period?
How do you plan to stop?????
