ummm.....maybe you miss your dead mother, or maybe she is trying to tell you something......I really don't know. A dream is the experience of envisioned images, sounds, or other sensations during sleep. The events of dreams are often impossible or unlikely to occur in physical reality, and are usually outside the control of the dreamer.
Some people believe that a human soul temporarily leaves its body during the dream-state, wandering in other worlds and meeting other souls, including those of the dead. These nocturnal journeys have provided a great deal of material for myth-making. In North America and Southeast Asia such voyages are thought to expose an errant soul to the danger of abduction by a sorcerer or malevolent spirit; when this happens, local shamans are customarily employed to search for and retrieve the lost soul.

Someone told me a long time ago that when you dream of the dead you will hear from the living.

If you dreamed of being dead yourself, it indicates an approaching release from all your worries and/or a recovery from illness. If you spoke with someone who is dead, you could soon hear very good news. To dream of a death often signifies news of a birth. To be aware of a dead person you cannot identify portends an inheritance which may not be personal but could be indirectly beneficial.

Once I was trying to buy the house my mom had lived in before she died. It was during a divorce and there were lots of problems that were getting in the way of the deal closing. Finally everything seemed to be falling into place. A few nights before the deal was to close, my Mom came to me in a dream and said, "This house is not for you. You don't belong here." The next day, the bank told me they wouldn't close the deal unless my ex wife agreed in writing that I wouldn't owe her alimony (She makes more money than me, but the bank didn't care about that). My ex wife refused to sign and the whole deal fell through. I lost the house.

When you dream of someone who's dead you will hear of someone who is living but will die or serious accident.
Those dreams are in fact warnings, listen very good what the person says in the dream it's good advice.

I think it just means that our parents leave such an indelible print in our minds that our wish to recap some of those memories often come about in our dreams . It's just a part of who we are and hopefully the dreams are all reasonably good.

My mom dreams of her dead father all the time. This apparently is supposed to be some sort of warning dream, you're supposed to pay careful attention to anything(if there was anything) that was said in the dream.

Dreams don't have meanings. I asked my shrink what my dreams meant. He said every dream symbolizes something only to the dreamer. He said there is no such thing as dreaming of a ball means this, and dreaming of a car means that...

I believe it means you miss her. I lost my son when he was a teen and I wish I could dream of him. Be thankful you dream of her. I do dream of him once in a while, very seldom, and wish I could dream of him every night. Because you can think about them, but when you dream about them it is almost like they are real and still in your life.
