Why should white males give up everything they have created?

Its funny every time I go on Yahoo answers and see people complaining about it being “a white man’s world” and say they deserve more and better then what they have with out realizing white men worked hard and earned everything they got. Of course there are gonna be some angry people posting here trying to deny the truth but it is not a coincidence that the nicest and best countries to live in tend to be created and ran by white men. And lets be honest the majority of the most important inventions used today that everyone loves so much like Planes, cars, television, computers, phones, the internet, light bulbs, motion pictures, photography, assembly line, ect(I could go on for hours) was once again create by white males. What’s really annoying is when white males create a company and invention, they work hard to make it a success like Boeing, Microsoft, Dell, ect, and then non white males demand they hire them and give them high profile or executive jobs like they are owed something. Imagine white men making the same demands to a company owned by a bunch of minorities, imagine all the crying and whining they would be doing.

And before those who say that its cause of colonialism that white males are so successful, I would like to mention that Northern Africans, Arabs, and Mongolians colonized and oppressed white people before, yet we never made it an excuse for our short comings and we freed ourselves and worked hard to become a success.

And for those who say its because of slavery, I say the majority of countries have had slavery in its passed but obviously it had nothing to do with how successful it is now. Look at Brazil, Mexico, the Caribbean, the Middle East, Africa, ect. All had slavery yet none of these countries are extremely successful today.

So why do people think white men owe, have to give up, or have to share what they’ve created? And how many will tell the truth and admit white males have earned their success?

Betty Mae Bop, you are way off. Africans were the first to try and conquer the world, the egyptian and Northern African empires had millions of slaves and attacked Europe and colonised it. And the Native Americans were off on a different continent so they were isolated and unable to try and take over the world, but different tribes would go to war and try to take over other tribes.

who the hell is asking us to give it up? seems that we as a human race are trying to establish a fair and equal playing field. to answer your question though, why should we have to give it up. we built in on the pain and suffering of others.

stating what other that have done wrong, does not prove your point it just shows that others did some messed up stuff too. you can't worry so much about what others are doing, just worry about yourself.

We are all born into certain groups, but many of these groups are not by choice. American, human, male, White. If you are in all of those categories then you did not choose them. You realized one day that that is who you are, but it was not a choice you made. You did not do something bad or something good to be born White. All of those accomplishments that you listed, I am also proud of, because I am part of the human race. We, as a people are finally advancing by leaps and bounds technologically. We need to advance our human spirits in the same way or we will all destroy each other and this planet.

BTW, do you take credit for all the atrocities that men have inflicted upon mankind throughout the history of the world?

The irony is that if one day we encounter an alien invasion, we will all realize that we have more in common than some of us think.

Where are u getting ur info from because there r many inventions that african-americans invented that people need today such as the automobile and their r many more... u sound like a racist.. r u??? who says they have to give up their success??? the problem is that they don't want anyone other than whites such as themselves to gain any success, so that leaves many minorities to work triple hard just to get what whites have, what whites have stolen, what whites have taken for granted.... if whites weren't trying to take everydamn thing from everyone else (like land, our freedom) then of course everyone would be equal and could share the success!! u make it sound like whites should hire no one but whites.... Have u heard of EOE!!! it's a job to do, it shouldn't matter who started the company or who made what but if ur gonna hire people than why not hire people regardless of race to do a job and get paid to do it....

Not all the things you mentioned were invented by white men and many non-whites have contributed to this society's success.

That said, most of the rest of your comments have the ring of truth. People need to stop whining and get off their behinds, take responsibility for themselves and make their mark in the world. There are numerous non-white people who prove every day that you can do it if you just stop complaining and do it. There are also numerous white people who aren't worth the time to hang them but truly are a waste of oxygen.

What separated Europeans and Asians from Africans and Native Americans is that Europeans and Asians felt the need to conquer and manipulate the world whereas Africans and Native Americans viewed the Earth as something they should live "with" instead of "against" and weren't as materialistic. And because Europeans and Asians have forced this type of lifestyle down the rest of the world's throat is why Africans can't function in modern society. Whose fault is that exactly?

I was obviously talking about sub-saharan Africa, and why do you care about this so much that you'll waste this much energy trying to put down other races? Get a more constructive hobby.

You're always going to look at history like it had anything to do with you, but it did'nt. It was a different group of white men and had nothing to do with you so how can you take pride in what they have earned? It basic psychology, you are trying to associate yourself with something you havd nothing to do with, kind of like being a Yankees fan. It would be wiser if you asked yourself what have you done in life, what have you earned? What you want to do and accomplosh in life, instead of being concerned with things like this. Besides it's your ancestors who made most of the mixed people of the world from Russia to Africa, to the America's.

Those questions asked, don't you realize that minorities (including women) have played a large role in all of the companies you've mentioned. They may not have started the organization, but they've worked their butts off at them. Why should anyone who works for a huge corporation not get theirs?

i think the whole problem with our world is all races are afraid to be truthful about eachother. without going to war. the problem is, thats why they made up the terms 1st world 3rd world. some ppl dont know how to deal with their problems in a civilized manner. in America, its more liberal, except their are ppl with 1st world attitudes and 3rd world attitudes. like for example, if you say to a white person, " i have a problem with whites" what is the whites reaction?=" what can we do to fix this problem?" if a white person says to a mexican or black " i have a problem with your ppl" what is the initial reaction? hate="f- you , stupid white boy" followed by a stabbing shooting or riot. I dont understand why whites and real mexicans cant say"what can we do to fix this?" if i had to guess, id say ego influenced by 3rd world lifestyles
