yes I do realise it and no I'm not scared. It has got us this far, it can take us further, if we don't destroy it first

I'm definitely understanding where you are coming from on this one. I usually get this realization (obviously) when I'm thinking about the vastness of space and the proportion of myself to Earth or the star system. Whats scary is when you are thinking about all of this as you stare up into a clear, starry sky. I've seriously fallen down from the excessive vastness and helplessness that I felt just from realizing how small I really am compared to, well, everything.

because the world is round, we have people like you....ahh i always want to say that to within the right context and yippy i have.
anywho, yeah i think about that but then i think about how other people view what's going one and do they realize that Thales was in a sense right. thales if you don't remember was the philosopher that thought the universe was made of water. people take his idea seriously but i think he was after the metaphorical sense of it which for some reason is an odd thing to do with Thales?? i don't know why since other philosophers of his time are now seen as speaking mostly in metaphors but he isn't, he's suppose to be taken literally? well anyway, oh shoot, lost train of thought. i guess until next time.

I do. It is weird. We don't know what is out there, and we don't understand a lot of the things going on on this little ball we are floating around on. We are upside down, and sideways and right side up all at the same time. Freaky.

No, I don't stop to realize that. Why? I've got places to go and things to do. Why is it scary? It's been a solid base for billions of years and has supported life for millions of years. What are you afraid of?

Yeah, but I think it's kind of cool actually.
OOH...and think of this. As the universe spreads out, we move further and further away from all the other solar systems and galaxies...and soon the stars will grow more distant in the sky and things will get much much darker. O~o

I know what you mean. We're on this tiny speck in the middle of nowhere. We're so insignificant in the universe.

no, but you got me thinking, but i do think sometimes when i look at the stars at night that how big is the universe, i wish i could one day be out there. looking at the sun and far beyond with out dying. some questions can't be answer. only God knows it all. Maybe when i die i'll ask him.

I think about sometimes how the world is spinning and its werid we can't feel it. And if the world is round half the world should be upside down.
