The scariest moment for me was a few years ago when I had just emigrated a few days before to the other side of the world. I was home alone, lying in my bed and somebody came into my room. He took off through the front door when he discovered I was there and was never seen again, but it was very scary. Especially as I didn't know what to do and was all alone.

Times when I have thought I was going to die. When I was a teenager, surfing, and didn't realize the waves were 15-18 ft. high. Got pulled under by a huge wave and rolled around and around...didn't know which way was up and which way was the ocean floor. Couldn't get any air because as soon as I broke through the surface, another wave crashed over me. I almost drowned that day. When a guy with a gun was running behind me on a street in L.A. and I was sure I was going to be shot in the back. Turned out he was an undercover cop who ran right by me and was trying to catch the guy who had just robbed the corner liquor store. When I rolled my car over and was trapped. Saw smoke coming out of the engine and couldn't get out and thought the car was going to blow up. When I was so depressed all I could think of was committing suicide and I couldn't do anything to shake the feeling as even if it would go away for a little while, it would always return later.

Verifying my sister's body at the county morgue!!! Is that scary and realistic enough for you? It was not only scary, it was very sickening as she had been under the water trapped in her truck for over 9 hours and it was the coldest day of the year in 1998.

Watching helplessly as my friend fell of the back of a speeding motor boat onto the propeller. He survived, lost an arm, but it was scary for a while until we could get help.

There was a guy killing women in my area. The composite photo looked EXACTLY like the violent exboyfriend I was dating. I sent in an annomous tip.

He came to my house months later, out of the blue. I let him in, and he started telling me about how someone told the cops he was the killer. And he knows who did it.

IF HE HAD LOOK AT MY FACE...Talk about GUILT. (but he didn't look at me..he was staring forward as he talked.)

He told me he thought his sister in law told the cops he was the killer. And how he's been giving her hell.

I wiped the sh!t out of my pants, and eventually, slowly, said our good byes and sent him on his way.

They never caught the guy, and to this day, I'm possitive my exboyfriend did it.

I saw shadows against my living room wall , which lead me to believe that there was an intruder in my home . I was 11 at the time.
