I'm serious. Last night i had a dream that i was in a hotel room with my best friend and my ex boyfriend we had just gotten back from a really scary concert. The place we were at was like so dark and like black with spider webs and scary people from what i remember nothing serious happened at this concert. but anyways while i was in the bathroom changing i looked down and i had sprouted real life testicl*s. I was really really scared and ashamed. these things were like as if they belonged to me. I put on these pyjama pants that were really baggy to hide them and sat on a bed. My exboyfriend sees the lump walks up to me rips the pjs down grabs them and yells " who's b*lls are these!?" and i was silent. i really didnt know what to say. he stormed out and i woke up. has anybody had a similar bizzare dream like this one and what's your interpretation of my dream? i can't figure out what its trying to tell me. p.s. i'm 18 years old if that makes a difference

All of these people that say they are tired of expensive health care and that the "government" ought to step in and "provide affordable health care" -- do these people not realize that WE are the government, and that the money that the government has comes from WE THE PEOPLE?

In other words, either way, WE are going to be funding health care. Are people REALLY that stupid? I mean come on, which in the end do YOU think will be more expensive - health care financed by the private sector or by the government?

Does the government do ANYTHING better or cheaper than the private sector?

If you think health care is expensive now, wait until it's free.

A group of students is incorrectly labeled by the school system as "slow learners." Their teachers and parents have low expectations for them, and their academic progress is negligible. Which one of Karl Marx's concepts would exemplify this type of situation???

In sociological terms, would a minority group experience unequal treatment or would they be outnumbered by the dominant group??

2007-01-29 08:39:13 · 1 answers · asked by Christopher R 1 in Sociology

What's wrong with just being honest? It's always the best policy.

Why not just say want equality in certain circumstances only?

Why not just say plainly, we want equal treatment in some circumstances but better treatment in other circumstances?

Why not admit you want men to treat you better than a man - to stand while you sit, open your doors, stand the cold so you can be warm, pay for your dates (at least the first few), and defer to you in many "chivalrous" ways.

The problems arise when (some women) say they want to be treated "equally", but refuse to admit that they equal treatment only when it is advantageous.

There is nothing wrong with wanting it all.

Why not just admit it?
