I'm an athropologist (and a female), and it really bothers me. It's clear that when people said "man" historically, they weren't including women as equals. Today, people say that "man" includes both males and females. But "human" is an equally simple term, and it's not sexist ...

Studies have shown that when people think of a "caveman," they don't think of a woman. Women aren't depicted in artistic renderings of hominids, unless they're following behind dangling a boobie and a baby. The stereotype is "man the hunter," not "woman the gatherer." When it's said that "man invented fire," does anyone really visualize a female form??? "Man" is a tool user and a hunter; no one thinks of a female "man" on those terms.

Society is numbing our minds, corrupting our children, filling our heads with useless propaganda, about false goals, and false gods. If ANYONE can see through this jumbled illusion we call life, and knows whats REALLY happening, please respond, i need to know there are others out there....

Two of my teachers are like dating. The female is new this year, the male has been a while. They are both in their 30s. I think the problem is that this is easily seen to the student body. I haven't gone a day without hearing people talk about it. The male teacher always brings the female food and stuff. And he has lunch duty at lunch, but he goes to her room instead, leaving the kids at lunch unattended. I'm REALLY close with female. She tells me the details and people know that I know alot more about this than other students. I eat lunch with her every day, so I'm there when the male teacher comes down. Then after lunch he takes forever to leave and get back to his class, so his students have to wait outside his locked door while he is flirting. The female teaches and they are making rockets for a contest and they can't get it to work, so now the male, history teacher, is making one too. I think to get more time with her.
Is this wrong? Illegal? Unprofessional?

I know it's a good thing, but why do people gravitate towards some people, what I mean, is people will find themselves comfortable around me, and talk to me, strike up a conversation,I mean I love it but I notice that everyone don't encounter that as often. Some people complain how it is hard to meet people and so on..Anyone have an explanation why some people gravitate some people rather than others?

Ever since I was little I would refuse to drink out of a pop or straw that had a mouth on it, even from my own mom. I refuse to eat anything that was sitting outside without me seeing it [ in the summber because i fear bugs will get on it] so I waste alot of food. Is this some sort of phobia or something?? I dunno but it drives me insane when I think something is dirty!

I had a dream that I was pregnant when I was 15...

I'm 14

The dream was so vivid, I can still remember it- most dreams I don't even care about, or the ones that I do care about, I forget in 2 hours.

I would go into details, but I'd rather not.

All I can say is, the dream was revolved around me giving birth to a boy.

[I don't even want to get pregnant/have sex, so chill =] ]

I'm in this "relationship" I suppose I can call it, with someone who lives across my country, and she loves me, and I'm pretty sure I love her, but it is SO hard, and it hurts me so much to have to be in one this way. We're still young, and it's obvious she's used to being the "bachelor" and being free to be with whomever, because she's never been in a relationship for too long, and this has gone longer than either of us expected. Even when I move out there for school, we still won't see each other very much. I don't want to hurt her, because she's been hurt enough, but I can't help but wonder, is love enough to make something like this work, if you're not sure you want it to? Is it just better to follow your heart?
