I like this girl I saw at the library, so I tapped some love poems in morse code with my pencil, but she didn't seem to get it??

Girls can learn it just as easily as boys. It was cute to try to communicate like that. Maybe you could get her a book on morse code?

You sound so sweet & innocent & young ! Do you know many ppl who can understand morse code? And as some one else said , it can be irritating to have someone tapping away in the library :)

All I know is if you were tapping morse code with a pencil that would really annoy me unless you told me it was a coded message. Can't tolerate someone tapping a pencil, drumming their fingers incessantly, etc. Maybe you were irritating her? Good luck!

Girls who are pilots, military personnel or merchant seawomen understand morse code - most other women (like most non aviation, military or merchant marine-affiliated men) don't know morse code.

most people do not know morse code i believe i do not know one person male or female that knows it fluently
