History seems to repeat itself everyday, and yet we don't learn from it. It is a cycle, a process that mankind goes through...Why is this?

i have known my b/f for about two months now,he seemed normal like ost guys untill two nights ago. while i was at his place for the night, i descovered a bag full of ladies underwear hidden in his wardrobe, when i questioned him about it, he said he accidently picked up someone else laundry from the laundrette, i believed him and forgot all about it as he said he was going to take it back.and last night while we were at the movies i decided to treat him to a b/j since not many ppl were about near where we were sitting, he wanted it at first then as iunzipped him, he pushed me away, i felt summit lacey he was wearing under his pants, i asked him after why, he said it was not the right place to do it. what is he up too as i have a suspicion he is into wearing ladies underwear and he probably is a wierdo, shall i leave him?

I’m totally aware that we depend on import goods from China for most of our materialistic needs, but my question is how well would we get along if the plug was pulled on us.

Several people in my life tend to get deeply depressed about their life and always come to me to talk about it. I am a good listener, but I am also a very optimistic person and I don't dwell for long on negative things in my own life. I am finding it very hard to give them good advice on how to overcome their sadness. It is something that comes easy for me, but they never seem to understand when I tell them that being a happy person isn't something that happens to you, YOU have to CHOOSE to be happy and do it yourself. Aparrently this advice only works for some people, and not for all.
Anyway, I am starting to feel a little weighed down by all the people I know who are always depressed and wonderring what else I can possibly do for them. So far my advice seems to go in one ear and out the other.
Last week with my boyfriend, he was telling me about something that was making him depressed. I am getting tired of always feeling like peoples counselor...I don't know what to do

What effect do you think an increased alcohol tax would have on drinks particularly drunk by under 25s in UK?

"A tax on alcoholic beverages that are particularly consumed by under-25s is reportedly being considered as a means to curb "excessive drinking". Discuss the likely impact of such a tax with reference to the predictions and limitations of neoclassical analysis. Would you support this tax?"

This is the question I have to answer for an economics essay. What are your views? Any help would be greatly appreciated and if you could point me the way to any good articles, that would be great.

Women used to have an ironing day after the wash day until "wash and wear" was invented. Not to allow women the best material invented for clothing is a crime. Why are men allowed cotton/polyester, but not women? I have seen women looking all over during a sale for these blouse and SOL.
