Most people only answer recent questions, and you may not get the answer you need from the few responses you get. I've also posted the same question under two different categories in order to get different responses.
Now, the people who are posting multiple questions about what amounts to an opinion and are only looking for consensus with their opinion are just wasting our time.

Yes, feel pain typing over again and again (I don't like the idea of copy and paste which many answerers do that)
However, there are thousands of thousands of askers, they don't know if it is asked already. I mean, if they ask themselves it is more personal, they may feel closer answered by someone instead of searching for the answers or looking up the answers or being guided to go to websites.
And that is psychological!

It drives me crazy. What really drives me crazy are the homework questions. I saw one simple division question on here one night and it would have been quicker to pull out a calculator than ask on yahoo answers. Yes I feel pain when reading the same questions over and over. I also feel pain at how lazy children have become because of the internet. =-|

This is an open forum that faciliates free speech, it doesn't need to be analized. I personally don't feel a dam thing when I see the same question posted twice...I'll probably just answer it with the same thing i answered the previous question with and take my 2 points!!

it is understandable that some people may ask repeatedly in order to get the answer they're looking for or just to have the question answered, but it still drives me crazy!

I wish they'd use the search facility.
We're here to help share knowledge and expereince, not act as a manual google....at least that was Yahoo's orginal idea, its all going to pot now.
