I can't be hypnotized or even put into a relaxed state of consciousness. I've had several doctor's try to hypnotize me and it never worked. I guess they thought it would help me relax or something which is a nice idea.

If you were planning your life, and could either do something that you absolutely love and have passion for, but you would struggle financially for the rest of your life, OR do something you have no passion for, but you will not struggle financially? If you could only choose only one which would you choose?

For the past two nights, a pig or pigs have been a central theme in my dream. This is really weird, because I have never even seen a pig or any other farm animal in real life.
In the first dream, I was forced to watch my mother slaughter a pig.
In the second dream I was searching for my cat on a farm with alot of pigs on it.

I feel as if people want to take advantage of me. They treat me like a punching bag as in someone they can say or do whatever they want to me because they think I won't do anything. When I actually do something I end up getting too angry and things get worse. I usually try to ignore it because I thought that would send the message "I don't care." Apparently, it doesn't. Maybe I've got the wrong demeanor?

Another issue is that sometimes authority figures at school think I'm about to do wrong when I'm really not. It's really annoying. For example, this teacher on a power trip assumed I was leaving the library without a pass when I was really walking across the room to look at magazines. I could go on and on with the nonsense they do. It's like they're bored and WANT to get someone in trouble, for any stupid reason.

What about those people who laugh at me? My voice is a little weird so everyone thinks I'm "slow" or meek. What do I do about them?

Did you ever find yourself struggling so hard with something that is not within you to do, while everyone around you seems to be thriving and have you ever succeeded with little effort in what others fail to do? What were these talents, in yourself and others?

I just think it's a load of crap just to keep people sane.
Same with "Everything happens for a reason". Load of crap to keep people sane or we'd be going crazy.
I don't think I have a soulmate and I've accepted that. I'm totally fine now.

To get to the point, I don't know how to talk to people, and having gone through depression (still going through it somewhat) and now living a non-productive life (compared to my other peers at 19 yrs old) doesn't really help the cause. Whenever I talk to someone, I only have brief things to say and I can't even get that correctly. Whenever I talk things get jumbled up together and it makes me seem dumb.

As you can see, I have no problem writing out my problems, but if I were to talk to someone about this, the details would be very vague and confusing, and I probably won't even get my point across until 20 minutes later since I have such a problem organizing my speech.

Anyway, what should I do? I have unorganized thoughts that interfere with my speech and makes me seem stupid, I have horrible life experiences that makes me seem dull to talk to - all of which makes me an uninteresting person and interferes with my social life. Any books I can read? what would any of you recommend?

What was going through his mind?"

I am writting a book where a famous star's brother is abused by his father (and has been for a few years.) The sister finds out and is horrified. When she catches the dad in the act, she manages to videotape it, and go to the police later.

Now, I'm doing a scene in it with the man thinking of revenge... What was he thinking when he hurt the child? Anyone have any insight on this?

My best friend's roommate is manic depressive, and heavily medicated - lithium, etc. More than likely, this week she has stopped taking medicine, and is extremely possessive and confrontational to the point of out-of-control. My best friend is pretty much staying with me because she is just beyond reasoning. We're not concerned about our safety, but we need to know how a professional psychologist would reason with a person in that state to get her to either take medication or to go seek medical attention. The police might end up being a solution in this one. I appreciate it!
