I just think it's a load of crap just to keep people sane.
Same with "Everything happens for a reason". Load of crap to keep people sane or we'd be going crazy.
I don't think I have a soulmate and I've accepted that. I'm totally fine now.

LOL!!!! Sorry but your post is so Charlie Brown. It made me laugh, and cheered me up when I was pissed off about five minutes ago, so be happy that you made something good happen in someones life. It's not some wide-spread rumor "load of crap" to keep people sane, it's just fun to dig in deep and be passioante as possible when you're with someone you are compatible with is all. Sorry if you had a bad experience my friend. But no, I do not believe we have a soulmate. I do not feel I will settle down with someone again either, if it's any consolation. Another consolation is www.met-art.com That will make you happy for awhile at least. But you are still young, so maybe just keep trying. I DO believe everything happens for a reason though. Cheer up knucklehead.

The Hallmark Greeting Card Company registered the term 'soul mate' in 1992 as a trademark when they introduced a new line of Valentine's Day cards. Oprah Winfrey also first made the term popular on her show in 1997 and Whitney Houston's wealth can be attributed to singing songs about the concept of finding a soul mate. "Sleepless In Seattle" made Meg Ryan America's Sweetheart because her character in the film found her 'soul mate'.........

People have a lot to gain by brainwashing people into thinking they have a soul mate. Soul mate is an industry, not a reality.

Yes I believe that there is a right man for the right women, but then I also know that in the end we mostly get what we really want in life ......

This statement "I'm totally fine now" who are you kidding ...

When she comes into your life you will eat these words
(she may have already been and gone ....sad )

As you can see I read much more into you words and the order in which they are written than most .....

I beleive that there is some one out there for every one and that eventually you will find them. Some times you are just looking to hard if this is the case just stop looking and dont worry about being in a relationship and eventually you will just relize it. It also is a good idea to take some time by yourself and just think about what kinda of a person you want and not who you want. I hope this helps it worked for me.

I think that your life and your love life are what you make of them. If you meet someone you respect and you enjoy being with that person you can become soul mates.

It's not something that happens in a split second. Building respect takes time and so does building love.

You probably don't have a soul mate right now but someday you might.

No I don't, because what happens if that one person out there dies or something happens to them? Then what your stuck all alone in the world by yourself? I believe that every one has a special someone but there is always mutiple people who could be that special someone.

If you take any psychology classes they will say there is no such thing. Its just something people use to connect with their partner. Its kinda like believing in god. Some need some don't. Personally I think its just a forum of control.

Yes, everyone has one, but not all of us ever find that person. I've had many disappointments in my life and once believed what you do, but I've learned to continue on and not give up hope. If you don't believe it, then you will never find that person because you have given hope and sealed your own fate.
