It's possible. If someone acts in a very creative and innovative way, that can easily be interpreted by a non-therapist as "mentally unstable" or classifiable as some type of mental disorder. However, mental illness is very real, and someone with schizophrenia can think their psychiatrist is wrong with the diagnosis when the psychiatrist is actually right. If someone thinks a mental health professional is incorrect in their diagnosis, that can also be possible, but much more unlikely than an average person's diagnosis.

I'm sure it's true. Because of their own experience, and not opinion. As you may already know, "opinions a##holes and everyone's got one." As why I know why people have mental problems, is because I actually went to school for this so I can help people and not just expressing opinions. Good enough, no?

This is a very common question or feeling or paranoia that is experienced by people with certain forms of mental illness. Paranoid, scitzophernia is one of the most common to come to mind. also people who suffer from clinical depression. of times caused by chronic pain and the side effects of narcotic pain killers are also quite often resistant to any suggestion that they have a mental illness.

Are you implying that the shrink is a mental ? If so, then
you are definitely mental and I am also for saying that
you are mental. Confidentialy, I am inclined to believe
that we are all mentals, its a very thin line really.

Sanity is defined by the masses. If you do not "fit the norm" which is behave according to societies acceptance of behaviour then you have mental problems. Or, if you ever lived with my ex's.

Quite often, yes. And the ones out to solve the worlds issues often have a world of issues of their own they're in denial about.
