"Happiness" and "contentment" are sometimes confused. If I eat a great sandwich, I'm content. "Happiness" is usually supposed to be something more permanent and refers to your life in general - if your personal and professional life are great and meet or exceed your expectations, then you might be "happy".
"Happy" is defined by a person's own specific desires and how reality fulfills them - tons of money can actually make some people very unhappy, even if they think they wanted tons of money. So if reality matches or exceeds your desires, then you might be "happy".

Happiness is a feeling that enters your body/mind when you are in a position for it to happen. This is a very relative question. The last thing that I remember making me happy was watching the O'Reilly show, as I enjoy it. Tonight also, the Seinfeld show was on an hour, I felt I was happy as I watched it, it makes me smile, and "Elaine" is always sexy, and I laugh just looking at George-great actor. And I was actually rather happy as I drank some chocolate milk around an hour ago, so happy I bought a second one and chugged it too, wasn't too cold, perfectly chocolatey too.

Happiness is not a destination to arrive at but rather a manner of traveling
in other words... Do you really believe that completing/locating/acquiring etc. etc. will make you "happy"?
Or in the long run could it have been the journey TO the destination that really made you "happy"?

Happiness is an emotional or affective state that feels good or pleasing. Overlapping states or experiences associated with happiness include wellbeing, joy, sexual pleasure, delight, health, safety, contentment, and love, while contrasting ones include suffering, sadness, grief, anxiety, and pain. Happiness is often correlated to the presence of favorable events (such as a promotion, a marriage, lottery winnings, etc.) and the absence of troubles or bad luck (such as accidents, getting fired, divorce, conflicts, etc.).
Societies, religions, and individuals have various views on the nature of happiness and how to pursue it.

Happiness is where you are content with something you do, or say. Its where you are just so happy you feel like you are wrapped in a warm blanket that was warmed up by a fire of content.

Happiness like all emotions, feelings, and experiences is purely subjective and is different for everybody. we are all strangers and can walk in anothers shoes but cant look through their eyes. technically happiness is something like a bunch of endorphins flowing in the brain. thats like a drug your brain makes on its own. i personally find happiness in the silent grace flight of a frisbee.
