My friend moved to newcastle last year. This year however I found out that she is missing and I dont even know if she ran away or was kidnapped...
I just found out from friends this morning, and shes been missing at least 1 day...

It really hurts because I have her old number and not her new number and no1 wld give me her number and I know she reads the SMS and probably replies to them and they are lying to me. She was my only ever friend, she wasnt someone who wld ever backstab me.

I dont know what else to say... Please help me deal with this, and if you think there is anything I can do please tell me. I cant not worry, because that is very hard for me

My husband has a strange relationship with his father, where I almost have to compete with him for my husbands attention. Many other people have told me it seems like my husband and his father have a strange almost in-love relationship instead of love relationship. My husband left for the military right after high school for almost 7 years and now that he is closer to where his father lives I notice this strange relationship more. I don't have any brothers so I was never around a father son relationship, but others including my own father have seen this relationship as strange. I don't know if it could be caused by a disorder or missed childhood stage. I am not sure.

Sometimes I catch myself grimacing in various ways when doing something tedious, like (for instance) painting along a window and not using masking or painters tape. I have often wondered what this action accomplishes.

Just a survey to see where people keep their money.

the score is placed between 117- and 121:117,118,120,120,120,120,121,119,120,etc. Take in consideration that the tests are not related to each other by any way. Do I have something to fear because of these scores?

Sensible suggestions only please, with just a little fun on the side - something you might choose for your own personal development perhaps... I got my degree in time for my 40th but have since mislaid my sense of direction, and now have no money either. How can I best mark the passing of a decade?

When you really think about it, isn't it always the ones who feel some need to conform or do not think for themselves have the compulsion to join up?? That goes for any organization including fraternities/sororities, cliques, "special interest" groups, etc.

I'm an undergraduate in Pyschology. Religion and the human brain has always intrigue me. What does religion play in the development of personality and character?
When some believers had some mystic "fly out of the body" or " getting high" experience, is there any scientific evidence to show this. Is it some neuro-disorder or mental instability?

From my weekly observation of charismatic christians, they seemed to be in a state of euphoria with the loud/rock music. The music gets ever louder, and it seems that more rock, more of that "opmh" in the music is needed to drive them; sounds like a building of tolerance to stimulants, with a vague similarity to people taking drugs.

And religious fanaticism; i compared it to alocholism. We know that alocholism is an abuse of alcohol. Religious fanaticism is basically an abuse of religion, to justify one's actions and criminal behaviour with God's or a higher being's acceptance.

Why are there a section for women's studies under social science and not for men? Is it because there's nothing to study?

I need to write a paper on Schizophrenia, and the first thing I need to do is to define it. However, I'm not really sure if it is an actual disorder or just a group of disorders. Shouln't you say "my friend has a schizophrenic disorder," instead of "my friend has Schizophrenia"?
The bottom line is that I don't even know how to define it. Does anybody know a web page that explains this in a simple way?

Ive got my dependency confused with love,
my underconfidence with my humility,
my needs with my nicecity,
my fear with my anger,
my weaknesses with my depth,
my selfishness with my bonding,
my skin is like a reptile's,
its dead from the outside,
Im waiting for it to shed,
but beneath is too soft and tender,
I dont want to reveal myself.
Im too sensitive for that.
I still have hope,
I still pray,
U laugh?
What else can I do?
I have to keep going,
although I khow,
Im only.... moving in a circle.
