My aunt & uncle made my cousin get an abortion when she was a teenager. It's never discussed, in fact hardly any of the family knows about it... It was my cousin who told my mother. Also, one of my other cousins was molested when he was a child. The truth came about about the man (who I believe was some type of boy's club leader or something) and they had the oppurtunity to prosecute, but they thought it would be best to keep it quiet. A lot of resentment there. Also, my Grandma believes that Grandpa had an affair before he died, and apparently he said he didn't love her anymore. It's never acknowledged... Also, my uncle is kind of a pothead... Although that's not really a secret, lol... Wow, I have a big mouth... Hope no one in my family sees this, I'll be disowned, lol...

Mental illness - I had a grandma who probably killed herself and other relatives that badly needed therapy but couldn't seek it out because they were too focused on trying to believe that they were okay or perfect and others were faulty.
