Call me cynically, but I think that a truly happy person is rare. Most of us, especially young people like me (I'm 21), seem to be striving and struglling to get where they want to be. It is their suffering that give them a reason to want more. But their seem to be obstacles in the way. What are yours?

Why do they not show reruns of old talk shows?

I would love to see some of those old talk shows again,,like Phil Donahue,Dick Cavett, The Tomorrow Show, The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson,Late Night with David Letterman to just name a few. There is nothing wrong with having a glimpse into the past is there? We may be being brainwashed so slowly via various forms of media, that the only way to see what is happening to us now or is coming in the future is to study where we have been. Our past could hold the key to the answers to some of the problems we are facing in society today. It's true that you are not going to piece this puzzle together by watching a few Oprah's and a Montel from 1989 or 1994 . But when combined with all the old shows running 24-7 on a talk show cable network it would soon become obvious that we are being brainwashed. You can not see it on TV LAND or watching old movies as much because fiction is written in such a way to exaggerate reality. But old talk shows

Someone else just asked a Q about serial killers, so it sparked my curiosity.. have any of you done research about this? What is the psychology of one? Does something in their brain/thinking slowly warp over time, until they think with only a serial killers thoughts? Do they have varying personalities and sometimes they are normal and other times serial killers? Between serial killers, is there any similarities in background or life experiences before they become serial killers? Does everyone have the possibility of becoming a serial killer, just some never go that way because they have different life experiences?

girls talk about the most trivial details. for example, if a bloke is getting to know a girl, and let's say he sends her something as simple as a text message, she will go and tell her friends "O look, he sent me a text message".

Then they will dissect and analyse the contents of it for the next 3 days.

They even try to analyse when you said "hello", in what manner, how long you talked to them. it is unbelievable.

Beging paid to perform sex acts (prostitution) is illegal. Though hardcore porn which is just sex is legal i dont understand either both should be legal or both should be illegal. You must be atleast 18 years old to watch porn but more than 42 percent of guys and 33% of girls ages 15-17 have had intercourse
(Let's Talk About Sex, Melissa Daly. Seventeen Magazine, July 2003.) and More than half of teens ages 15-19 say they’ve had oral sex. (USA Today 9 September 2005. ) So its ok for a 15 year-old to have sex but he has to wait 3 more years to watch it ? Thier is something really messed up with our goverment what is your view on this ? What do you think about all this i put the address of this website at the source spot

I am terrified of spiders......they scare me sh!tless.

I don't know what the psychology of this is as I find them beautiful in their own right, and I know they won't hurt me.....but every time I encounter one I am reduced to jelly.

Where I live (Qld, Australia), they are massive. In my bathroom last night there was a huntsmen the size of a saucer and I was about ready to book into a hotel.

Ridiculous, I know, irrational, yes. I don't want to be like this.

Any ideas on how I can keep my cool around spiders? I have no problem with any other creepy crawly, reptile or bug - just the 8 leggedy beasties!

Please help.........thanks
