Actually, it really got me no where. Hate is a way that it takes over your body and you do something that you will never be fogiven about. Plus, it hurts you because you will loose friends and love ones. I personally have went threw this it all most cost me my life. I had so many people hating me because I hated them and treated them like crap. Its very unfortant because I lost over 18 of my 28 years of mylife. Now, I have to play catch up. Hate is a wrong way to see life its the power of love and caring for the ones you love that counts the most.

Absolutely nothing. And it takes a lot of energy, so why do it? It's a whole lot easier to step back from things you don't enjoy than to rant and rave about them. If you can do something about a situation, that's a whole different ball game, but just sitting around hating is about as productive as pouting. And neither one accomplishes anything.

Hate causes nothing but pain for the person harboring the hate. Hating someone is like taking poison yourself and waiting for them to die. Its totally illogical

Hate can be a great temporary motivator, but when its subject is dealt with, I feel drained. I dislike feeling hatred. I am usually disappointed with not being able to do anything about, and I feel out of control. I don't like myself being in that state because it is unproductive. Only calmness gives me strength, as long as I don't suppress the hatred, but deal with its causes. That is just my way of course.

It has made me a stronger person, I went through a stage where I hated the world but it made me get off my a*ss and do something with my life.

Now I don't really hate anything. You waste so much time and energy when you hate. It's very draining.

I believe that you cannot hate a person that you do not care deeply about. So hate is more of an angry response to feeling betrayed or hurt by someone you care about.
If it is toward someone you hardly know, then hate usually will be directed towards something about them that is also a trait of yourself that you typically don't like. Since you don't like it in yourself, when you see it in someone else, you despise them for their "weakness" in that trait. So hate, even though you seem to direct it outward toward someone else, usually it is really directed back at yourself, because in either case - the person that you cared about that hurt you or the person in whom you see weakness, you feel bad about yourself by first either allowing yourself to care deeply for someone who rejected you or treated you seemingly badly or by realizing you have the same trait that you despise in the person that you hardly know.
In telling you why I believe we hate, hating people at times has helped me look within myself to learn more about who I care about, why I care about them, when and how I allow myself to be hurt, what I consider weaknessed of character, what I don't like about myself, and when I am vulnerable, and in what ways I need to become a stronger, more self-sufficient person.

In that, hate, momentarily makes me feel all horrible and just "yucky" inside, but if you take time to analyze your hate, learning about it rather than dismissing it and pretending you don't actually feel that way.. you can learn alot about yourself and the people around you.

Hate does nothing but make people grow bitter and resentful. It makes you waste time.
