I'd be grateful if somebody out there could direct me to some articles or an online discussion about the kinds of things that happen when two currencies are locked together, like Hong Kong's and the U.S. dollar are.

This situation is surely common enough, except not one of the economics textbooks at my disposal says a word about it.

What in particular I seek to understand is what sorts of things will happen if the smaller country prints too much or too little of its own currency, and whether and how inflation rates between the two countries will be identical.

Thanks, anybody who can help.

Everyone has try to talk to him but he refuse to open up and tell things to anyone.

He did tell few things to his girlfriend but not as much as he did to his grandma.

What could be making him comfort to talk with my mother? I've tried to use same approach and it didn't work, I've tried everything and nothing work. I hope that he could at least open up a bit and let us know a bit more about what is going on with him.

I have been having weird dreams!! A couple of weeks ago, I have been having dreams about going into labor, whales, and last pm I dreamed about holding this beautiful little girl and someone standing beside me was holding this handsome little boy!! They were twins and they were mine!! I have had 2 miscarriages within the past 3 1/2 months!! I do want twins, but I'm trying to be patient!! I'm quite curious as to what this dreams are about and if you can if you know anything about dreams, give me an interpretation of them! The one with me in labor, I could see the baby's head if I looked between my legs and my mama said it was a boy and then she started laughing like it was a joke!! I never knew the sex of the baby! I've had multiple dreams of giving birth twins and I've had dreams about a doctor telling me "IT'S a Girl!" I'm constantly dreaming about babies and little children!! Please HELP!!!

I'm a very senstive person. Some would say I'm hyper senstiive. When someone hurts my feelings or if I get dumped by a guy I usually cry about it. It takes me a long time to forget about something if someone hurts my feelings. I bottle up my emotions frequently. How do I learn to become more stronger emtionally and less hyper sensitive?

Discussing the Assyrian and Armenian genocide is definitely a taboo subject. But finally with the bill (which passed) in French Parliament, we can discuss and placing down our opinions and ideas.

...I live in south Alabama. Everywhere in the south (Maybe its the same up north, I dont know) wherever theres a hospital, its always surrounded by a rundown, primarily african american neighborhood. (no racism intended) Why is this? I've always wondered ever since I was a young boy, why whenever we went to a hospital we always had to drive through a projects like area, or just really old, worn out houses with black children playing in the street while black men chill outside with friends. Is it because theres a hospital there, or is the hospital put there because of the area? Please answer maturely.

broadly speaking, everyone works equally [ie, within a small range - plus or minus 20%/hr] - so it would be just to pay everyone equally, ie, within an equally small range - instead we hav allowed pay range to grow up to 1,000,000 times av, & down to 1000th av/hr - shortening 90% of ppl's lives by decades - murdering 90%, since shortening life is legally murder - & causing 90% of ppl to be unable to contribute to scientific progress - & causing 80% of medical scientists to be wasted in looking for generics, & 80% of scientists to be designing wartoys - when they cd be lengthening life -
plus the 1 in 50 humans killed each yr in war & starvation - arent we all murdering all of us, since we are shortening the life of all of us, by months, years & decades, when we cd be paying work justly, & living in peace, with medical science advancing 50 times faster? - & then there is the decimation of everyone's quality of life, by the environment of unnec. extreme violence, instead of peace

I work in retail and some of my collegues call customers "Sir". I refuse to call anyone Sir. I don't have a chip on my shoulder, but neither to I think that anyone is better or more deserving person that I am.
I also hate being called "Sir". I guess I'm just a relaxed person who considers everyone equal.
Do you have to call people "Sir" or "Maam" in your job? Do you choose to use these titles? Or are you on the recieving end? I'd love to hear some different opinions.
