I definitely agree with this! I think some people (me included) spend too much time worrying aboout something they have done or are about to do, and dwelling on something that's already happened that they can't change

The past is the present. The future is also the present. When you are living in the past, you saw it as the present. How can the perception of past arise when you were in the past? You only say it's the past when you are now. But how can you be sure the present time you live in is not the past? Jump into a time machine and travel to 10 years in the future and you'll see the present time you currently live is indeed the past.
Nothing steal our present time but ourselves. Cherish the present moment and you will get the most of it. Forget about the past and future. They are merely mental bondage.

I doubt it. The past is in the past, a known thing. The future is an unknown thing, since noone is guaranteed the future. How can you say they are stealing the present? The present is all we have.

The past is forever moving forwards consuming the future;
The future is forever moving backwards into the past

We are as one a state of mind forever trapped in he present being spun perpetually trapped between the two realms.

I suppose there is some sort of logic in that question?
The past has a lot of bearing on our actions now in the present.
And maybe our actions now in the present are geared to the future.
But to say that these are 'stealing' the present? no that makes no sense.
