It depends on what it is that you're trying to persuade.When you give opinions, don't just give them, support them with examples and etc. However, the best way to persuade others is by providing facts and real life situations.

I would come prepared with fact. It has to be a passion to you to persuade anyone. On the other hand some people cannot be persuaded for anything.
