Why all the fear about the the so-called "dead"? The Bible
uses the word in many ways. Like being "dead to sin", or apart from sin. Doesn't in fact our beliefs say that the spirit
remains very much ALIVE?

Please tell your story. I was just thinking of the baboons in the biology dept. at the university I attended. I remember I ran an errand from one dept. to where the baboons were kept. I entered a basement and on the floor a yellow line was painted. Before I saw the cages a primate charged the cage. His fangs were like tusks! He moved so quickly! he wanted to kill me. ( i am sure he was miserable in his cage). I just stood there me behind the yellow line and him looking in my eyes.He was furios! All I can say is if I ever go on a safari it won't be the lions I am afraid of.

Some latinamerican woman who moved to Italy told me that Italians are a bunch of narcissists who treat woman terribly like they were their servants, and they don't let them succeed as them.

Is that true?

Having seen this first hand, I can tell you that it isn't something you will realize you are seeing until, like me, you find them the next morning OD'd in a pool of blood on the floor next to their bed, face down and dead.

The saddest part was that I didn't knowshe was dead and gone. I decided to go check on her and I had to get her landlady to let me into her apartment. Her dog was there, her car was there...she had no job. After I found her I then had call her family and tell them the shocking news.

We were best friends and this was 20 years ago. Her family blamed me for being the last person to see her alive and not know she was going to commit suicide.

A year later I tried the same thing but I woke up in the hospital after about 6 weeks and of receiving shock therapy so I would forget how bad I was hurting.

If you are suicidal, please stop and think about how your friends and family will feel when they realize that you were and they couldn't help you.

I am 21 almost 22 with epilepsy since age 5 I was put in special education at a young age and was not afforded many of the opportunities that many people have. Even though I graduated from high school. I can't drive which means I have to walk EVERYWHERE, have few real world skills and little money which means a job any chance of ever owning a home, gaining successful employment or ever going out on a date in my life are out of the question. I just moved 2 months ago with my 2 sisters my mom and her roommate who she met online to Troy NY From Capitol Heights MD. Which means I had to leave my dad and my grandparents behind. And get rid of most of my belongings. Besides my sisters who go back to college later this month I have no friends and don't know a single person around here which means I have no one to talk to and nothing to do I feel like my life is going nowhere fast.

Speaking for myself, I've come to observe that I have rather vivid, quite memorable, usually positive dreams during the Full Moon phase. However, I am struck by the consistency of disturbing dreams, even nightmares, I experience during the New Moon phase. I don't know of any "scientific" explanation for this phenomenon nor if I am alone in this. Has anyone else experienced this or any other (perhaps opposite?) effect of the Moon on dreams?

The Full Moon begins today in the Northern Hemisphere, so I'm actually looking forward to my dreamscape tonight. How about you?

Illegal aliens are just that illegal.

So "we" are letting forigners break the law.
Why not me?
I'd like to speed and get amnesty.
Rob a bank and get amnesty.
Not pay taxes and get amnesty.
Take a stapler from work and get amnesty.
you get the drift...

Yes, my eye contact is poor, and there is no excuse for it, but I meant nothing by it, and until I turned my back and walked out, I had no clue this person was going to react to the tic, if in fact that is what the individual was reacting to by making the nasty comments. I have to assume it was the tic that set the server off, since I gave the person NO other reason to react.

Whilst watching a documentary about prostitution I sugested to my flatmates that past sexual abuse could (statisticaly) be a factor in allot of people who freely choose to become prostitutes. My flat mates were highly offended and basicaly said I was full of **** and a sexist (not something anyone has described me as before, infact I am a little taken aback)

This is something I have been told about before and I am not sure what evidence (if any) there is to suport it. I don't want to think I made a statement that has no grounds and if there is no evidence to suport it I would like to know I am wrong. All I know is that for most people I know who have been in this situation it has been a factor when they have looked back.

Any facts grately apreciated.
