In hospice, I learned that life is an active, conscious thought, one that we habituate to and become essentially unaware of. When we let go of that thought, we die. Our life span is physically determined by the little string-like things called telemeres at the end of our DNA strands. Our telemeres wear down to the nubs and when they are gone, we die. There may be a virus that lodges on our telemeres as a parasite that it locks down our telemere's natural ability to continue to grow, sort of like a fingernail. Without that viral infestation, our natural lifetimes may be as long as 9700 years. Learn science. It's getting seriously cool.

I think dying is like not being able to verbalize my communication because I don't believe in the rules of the English language. Dying is a lot like being stupid and deliberately uneducated.
