I am 21 almost 22 with epilepsy since age 5 I was put in special education at a young age and was not afforded many of the opportunities that many people have. Even though I graduated from high school. I can't drive which means I have to walk EVERYWHERE, have few real world skills and little money which means a job any chance of ever owning a home, gaining successful employment or ever going out on a date in my life are out of the question. I just moved 2 months ago with my 2 sisters my mom and her roommate who she met online to Troy NY From Capitol Heights MD. Which means I had to leave my dad and my grandparents behind. And get rid of most of my belongings. Besides my sisters who go back to college later this month I have no friends and don't know a single person around here which means I have no one to talk to and nothing to do I feel like my life is going nowhere fast.

But I don't want to just lay down and die on the other hand I also don't have the strength to kill myself. So I just don't know what's going to happen to me or my life.

Well, this is no consolation, but you are obviously in better shape than the non-Stud who is unable to even read and is also ornerier than a junk yard dog.
I note that your question is well written, so you are also somewhat more literate than most participants here.
Please start at the beginning and see if there is any new surgery or new meds which will help you become employed. (I am assuming your problem is that your continuing seizures would interfere with employment, since one needs little literacy for many jobs.) My brother, age 54, has been epileptic since childhood. He had problems in the past, and I do not know what he did or what meds he uses now, but he works as Quality Control in a machine shop in Albuquerque. So, he has somehow gained control.
My point is, it's easy to conclude there is no help, because your doctor(s) did not know much about your problem, and at that time assumed there is no real cure. So, do check around and make sure there are no specialists who know what to do, or perhaps new technology.
Next, if you can handle rejection, go to Wal-mart, they advertise they hire the disabled, tell them honestly how bad your problem is, how often you have seizures, how bad those seizures are, and ask them if there are ANY jobs for you, no matter how few hours and how simple. If they tell you, no, ask them if they have any ideas where you might be of use to someone.

Think about the things you enjoy to do, and the things you're good at. Then, think of a way you can turn that into a job.
Also, if you like to help people, a really great place to look is www.idealist.org. It has lots of nonprofit jobs and volunteer ideas all over the country (or maybe the world) and it might trigger something you'd really be interested in.

get into a support group, go see a specialist about better meds
get into college, take a bus where ever you have to go. there are people out there.and you don't have to leave your home to be a success in life. get an on line job. or work at home business.....check into SMC and invest a little....life isn't bad. but live what how you are to your fullest. there are a lot of other people who have epilepsy......one of my friends does.....she doesn't let it stop her from living...she ROCKS....SHE IS THE MOST EXTRAORDINARY PERSON I HAVE EVER MET. and I'm sure if she was sitting here right now she would tell you to quit bitching.and then her motto.WHAT EVER HAPPENS, HAPPENS

You sound like you'd be very good at helping people. Become a therapist. You will be happier and maybe meet someone who you wan't to spend the rest of your life with. Good luck to you.
Killing yourself is not the answer. You've got a whole world to persue. Go for it!

However way you look at it...you're luckier than most people in the world! you might be sick but there are heaps more who are more ill than you are and would probably like to trade places with you. You're young, find something that you can vent your frustrations on...something creative. have you tried writing?, or painting? or find a pen friend!?! you seem like you got a good head on your shoulders...you'll be fine!!! Good luck!
