Some latinamerican woman who moved to Italy told me that Italians are a bunch of narcissists who treat woman terribly like they were their servants, and they don't let them succeed as them.
Is that true?

I didn't made that statement. I am attracted to Italian men but that woman warned me to stay away from them.

Not totally true. I know many Italian-American men who are the most loving and devoted husbands to their wives, through any horrible situation. Most of the ones I know have great values and really respect their wives and respect the idea of the family unit and would never consider getting a divorce or leaving their families.

My husband was born here, but his parents are both from Italy. And I guess the way she raised him, babied him too much, did everything for him, always had what he needed, he grew up thinking women are servants or something. Like he's entitled to take it easy, because, "the woman will take care of it".
Yeah, my eyes are open now.

Honey all men treat women badly.
Get a good education and a good job you're have self esteem and he will respect you for it. Women have to earn respect.
Men get it by just being born.

My husband works for a man who moved here from Italy just 3 years ago. He is the nicest man I have ever known.. (and OMG IS HE HOT!!!!!) I would assume there are bad Itallians like there are everywhere else.

It is not true.
I am married to a wonderful, handsome Italian man. He is kind, considerate, patient and loving; not to mention hot as Hell....
I treat him like a King & he treat me as his Queen... Works for me.
Men in general treat women how they are treated. Be good to them 1st & the good ones will be good to you.
If you get a bad one, waste no time & move on.
There are bad apples, both men & women in every culture...

My boyfriend treats me like a princess and hes italian. OH and fyi the whole myth about italians being small... not true!

I'm Italian and I would hope this was a cultural thing as opposed to a racial thing. I've treated my women EXTREMELY well in the past.

I dont think that solely based on nationality, can you make such a broad general statement/ personally I know guys can be creeps in any culture you can name~~and again they can be some of the nicest people~~~live through experience/ and you can make your own judgements~~
