Ok. I have been taught that emotional abuse is worse than physical abuse in some cases--depending on the level of abuse and the age of the victim, etc.
I believe that emotional abuse is worse in the long run, because in some instances the physical abuse it what it takes to validate the fact that a person is being emotionally abused.
Otherwise the victim may not realize or believe with certainty that they indeed are being abused.
What do you think????

It would be nice to have more than just belief.
I dislike the way for example religion is based on belief. You get people refusing to do charity because someone told them that raffle tickets are lotteries. Why don't people think for themselves and do what they believe to be right not what they are told is right?

Religion has become some many spinoffs, it depends what version you are in as to what you believe. Even then some bits can be right and others IMHO daft.

So how do we get evidence of something more spiritual?

The biblical account of Noah's Ark and the Flood is perhaps the most implausible story for fundamentalists to defend. Where, for example, while loading his ark, did Noah find penguins and polar bears in Palestine?

Knowing that two men couldn't possibly create a living being, and yet if they wanted a child they could adopt, do you think homosexuals were created to ensure that the world would not be overrun with people?

Other than scared, how did it make you feel?
How long did it take after you woke up to settled down?
Did it disturb you for only a few minutes, or was it hours or days?
Did you fear going to sleep the next night incase you had the same dream again?
Did you sleep walk during it?

Thanks

Jimmy

Don't they realize that some people just have more energy than others?
Personally, I'd be more worried about a little kid who sits still all day than one who dances on the table during class.

Since material things are loathed by the flesh(the body), it is said that these aren't the desires of the soul, but that the soul desires more intimate and deep things, such as spiritual harmony(with God, if you are a Christian). Knowing this, do you think it is or isn't possible that just as the body may desire another body, the soul may desire another soul?

Its hard for me not to think about it. Especially in the summer when womens bodies are more visible than at other times of the year. Is this natural? Why dont women think like this? Im very safe when having sex with other women. Very clean. But I cant seem to get enough. And its always on my mind. At times I feel that thinking about it so much is inherently evil. Yet I cant stop. I cant really talk to anyone about it either. I have dated multiple women over the course of 20 years. Nothing much has changed since I was 14. I still think about it, no matter how much I have sex. Is this a common thing for most guys? girls? How do you overcome and control a feeling that seems perfectly normal to you? I can walk away from alchohol, drugs, balance my budget perfectly, lead a respectable responsible life in every other way.... but I cant keep sex off my mind. Is it hopeless? I feel like Im the only one on earth with this problem.
