Because I like to study them.
Also, it's best for science if they don't have their shirts on while I'm studying them.

Men's studies is an emerging field, as is white studies...but because men occupy the invisible hegemonic position in society it becomes an extremely difficult subject to study. I think once men's studies emerges as a valid topic of examination, then women's studies (and gender studies in general) will really begin to make progress.
You want a men's studies? Then by all means...get on it!

"get studies"? What is the question? Maybe because they can express their ideas better for one..and pay attention more to listening than to guys. This changed over time. Now the cheerleader sluts types are just as bad as the guys are.

Same reason we have Black History Month and Black Entertainment Television.

I'd like to see Men's Studies.

(No, I don't believe that as a woman I'm a second-class citizen. As a white person I don't think blacks are second-class either.)

Well because most general studies are male by default, they just don't carry the title of being male. Same thing with African American studies, most are generally caucasian by default. Most general studies are concerned with male accomplishments, ideas etc. So these specialized fields carry those specialized names.
