A and B are boyfriend/girlfriend who live in seperate countries. C is B´s friend. A does not know C.

A is going to visit B. B knows that C is looking to buy a widget. B asks A to buy a widget for C since widgets in A´s country ($500) are significantly cheaper than widgets in C´s country ($1000). C will reimburse A upon arrival for the cost of the widget.

A agrees to help.

A is given C´s email address. Through email correspondance, A is able to determine exactly what type of widget C wants.

A purchases the widget for C.

Meanwhile, B loses her widget.

What is the right thing to do?

1) A should give the widget to C. After all, even though he doesn´t really know C, A made a promise to buy the widget for C. It is unfortunate that B lost her widget, but A´s obligation is to C.

2) A should give the widget to B. After all, he doesn´t really know C, and B is his girlfriend. If B has to buy another widget, it will cost twice as much as A paid. A´s obligation is to B.

I am a tottaly normal girl and I keep having the same kind of dream every night, not trying to be weird on Yahoo Answers cause i'm bored it's really happening and weirding me out...

2 nights ago- I had a dream i was at someones house (don't remember who and don't remember the people) I was sitting on a sofa and the cat started warming up to me but i tried to pet it and it just kept getting meaner and meaner till i had to hold it with both hands awya from me cause it just kept trying to attack me. no one else seemed to care.

Last night - I Had a dream I had a bunch of baby penguins in my room and they were all cute and fuzzy and my family like took them in cause they were in trouble. the big penguin was getting cuddly with me and then started to like get weird so i ran all though my house and it was chasing me until i locked and hid behind a door.

I am not an animal freak, I don't go about thinking of animals. Why do I keep dreaming this werid stuff?

I've been finding everything makes so much more sense when I have been able to unburden myself by asking questions about things that I need advice on.Do you think being able to do this is in someways helping me to deal with and possibly even treat the depression I'm suffering from?I find this all quite cathartic. Is yahoo answers the new counselling service?

Many pro-choice women, (often feminists) believe men should have no say in the abortion topic, because they have no uterus. Based on this logic, should women have any say in any legal matter pertaining to men since women do not have a man's anatomy?

Why don't pro-choicers understand, the abortion topic isn't about belittling women, its about respecting unborn children?

I am curious what is of most interest out of fair trade subjects, cruelty free/veggie issue (which deal with cosmetic testing down to veggie lifestlye) or Organic items and green living what do you think is the most interesting are any of them universally of interest even if not followed.

I am a white Briton. I have little time for political correctness, and I am very much in favour of multiculturalism in the UK. I feel that people of diverse ethnic origins and/or religions should be able to live as they wish, subject to a few ground rules.

What do the people of diverse ethnicities feel about my attitude. For example, about 70% of the food I cook for myself and my wife is of Indian/Pakistani origin ( I prepare and cook it myself, using herbs and spices, not Pataks jars. I do not use Halal meat, as it is not a religious requirement for me, but i support the right to Halal for devotees of Allah, or Kosher for the Jews.)

Do you feel I am poaching on, or stealing, your heritage? I feel we should all muck in together, and take bits from each others cultures without insult.

I will be very interested in your comments.

Brutal or subtle... The truth is the truth is it not? Or can we change it by how we make others percieve us by lying to ourselves and to them, often about the very obvious. Ever meet someone who was brilliant at making people buy into their dellusions as if they honesty were someone they are obviously not? And if you are this person or know this person, are they or are you offended when someone tells you the truth about yourself?

Typically when someone crosses the line with me or is rude, I take the high road and respond diplomatically or just don't really respond at all. I know that if I lower myself to their level that I would be at fault, as well. Also, I tend to focus on the good in people and I make excuses for their actions.
The problem is that when it is all said and done, I can't let the anger with this person go. I feel this way towards someone that I worked for and will never see again. I know it is irrational to still feel this way but I really feel like I was treated disrespectfully.
What makes it difficult is that most of the disrespect was extremely subtle, so it was an extremely confusing experience on top of everything else.
How can I get closure to this?
