I am a white Briton. I have little time for political correctness, and I am very much in favour of multiculturalism in the UK. I feel that people of diverse ethnic origins and/or religions should be able to live as they wish, subject to a few ground rules.

What do the people of diverse ethnicities feel about my attitude. For example, about 70% of the food I cook for myself and my wife is of Indian/Pakistani origin ( I prepare and cook it myself, using herbs and spices, not Pataks jars. I do not use Halal meat, as it is not a religious requirement for me, but i support the right to Halal for devotees of Allah, or Kosher for the Jews.)

Do you feel I am poaching on, or stealing, your heritage? I feel we should all muck in together, and take bits from each others cultures without insult.

I will be very interested in your comments.

I have no problem with a multicultural society, i do have a problem with the government and they way British culture is almost seen as second class or to be sidetracked for ethnic minorities. I believe that we as Britons are being pushed aside and it is this that is making problems (people are beginning to take it out on those from a minority when i feel it is the way the government handle the situation that is at fault). I respect everyones right to religious and cultural beliefs but our religious and cultural beliefs are not being met. Christmas is a big thing in the UK and i find it sad that we may no longer be able to call our christams lights 'christmas lights', we may not be able to send christmas cards that depict the nativity or religious themes, incase we cause offence. i find it sad that we may not be able to put certain meat sandwiches in a fridge at work because of others' religious beliefs. i think there needs to be balance, and the government needs to recognise that in a multicultural society people should be treated equally and if certain religious traditions etc require specific things this should not be given to the detriment of other religions or culture. people should be taught to tolerate difference not to ban it. ok so 'christmas lights' and certain meat may offend, but if we have to make allowences then so should they. I think what it comes down to in my opinion is that we all deserve the right to live according to our beliefs and culture as long as it is within the law, but we should not get preferential treatment based on this.

i imagine there's a distinction between sexual emotions and women only ensue to be there and sexual emotions for some one. maximum adult adult males have truly severe sex drives and there aren't any sexual emotions connected. There are only sexual emotions and someone they desire will be on the receiving end. yet attachment? it is yet another situation, thoroughly. adult adult males experience sexual or horny. captivating lady walks by using. twist of destiny, no longer some thing extra. The sexual emotions aren't to any extent further connected to the girl, they're connected to the guy. completely.

The saying goes DO AS THE ROME'S DO, if you live in a country , you should do as they do.

We have lived in a different country than here, and did as they did, no excuses.

Unfortunately Britain had gone mad with this political correctness thing. Notice the missing (Great) in Britain no more.
