That sounds about right. It's like a whole new exercise for her and her muscles will have to learn to be used in that area. she's lucky that you are so concerned.

Congratulations to the Virgin Islands. But in you way you also appear to be a new traveller from the way you are apologetic about your being in the whole hole.If you were the first fumbler it must have indeed disillusioned you to some extent. Believe me such initial encounter is rarely seen or heard now-a-days. But rest assured despite the rather nervous reaction of you both this experience would remain a cherished experience throughout your life, especially if you both hitch together on a lifelong hike. Such maiden experiences are quite common and soon get over with. Despite all this talk around us all the time the sex experience is a unique phenomenon. The spirit of adventure ,the confrontation with an experience about which one has only heard and read so far, the inevitable physical friction which is an essential part of the initiation does cause some physical and sometimes even psychilogical discomfort. The physical would soon wear off and your partner would climb upon you for yet more and yet more drink at the spring. It is the psychological one that has to be guarded against. Sex is the most fundamental act common to all Creation. There is nothing sinful about it unless it is forced . It is us humans who make much of it. Look at the animal world. They indulge in it without any inhibitions about exposure or cosanguinity etc. Even if Adam's tasting the fruit o the Tree of Knowledge is interpreted as an allegory of the sex act it is not so. In fact bible says perhaps before the coming of EVe Adam was having sex with almost all the created animals. So neither of you need to have any hangovers.Go ahead, drink deep ,as the Poet Pope says in the context of Learning, at the fountain. Just a little sip is a dangerous thing! It is not something Satan gave us but God.

I am a girl, and unfortuantally im not a virgin anymore. But its normal for it to hurt for a while. Even now when me and my boyfriend have sex, it will hurt for a day or two and we have had it more than once. Usually the next day i cant even walk. Its just change in your girlfriends body. Nothing to be worried about. Sex is a strain on every part of your body. Its like an intense work-out, your gonna hurt for a while afterwards. Its nice that you care about her like you do. Im sure you make a great boyfriend.

Some girls are more sensitive when their hymen is broken, it all depends upon the nerves and how they experience the trauma in your girlfriend's body. Don't trip as long as there is no other symptoms(bleeding, excessive swelling, redness, abnormal discharge, etc.) I would suggest that you reassure her that,
you have no wish for her to be in pain, but you have every desire to be with her again, as soon as she is feeling up to it. Promise her that you will be considerate of her, and encourage her to tell you if the pain continues. If it does, I strongly suggest you consult a doctor. Sincerely, ex-LVN, UC Steve.
