To be brief:
Hardware: Light skinned mixed-raced black guy
Software: AsianGuy 1.0

Occupation: Sr. Software Engineer
On to my question. I am an expert level computer programmer, a prodigy at a young age, and as I moved forward in my academic and professional career it was the norm that I exceeded my peers. This often led to alienation. My question is, why now that I am in between jobs and actively interviewing is it that White and Asian males do not really consider me for the position for which I am applying? I have examples of my work and am usually technically overqualified for these positions. During the interview I maintain a positive attitude and am only capable of speaking standard english. Why do people care so much about race in a job that requires technical skill and creativity?

All throughout Yahoo! Answers, espcially in the "Women's Studiies" section, (for obvious reasons) there are discusting questions and comments! Most are from teenage boys, (that's right, little "boys"). Yahoo! Doesn't seem to care! The questions are discusting.

I don't mind questions of debate. I don't mind provocative questions, (not sexually). I don't even mind redundant questions. Nonetheless, these perverted questions are getting on my nurves. Even worse, many females are flirting back!

Is Yahoo! afraid of "censoring"? Is Yahoo! afraid of losing business ? Yahoo! is a multi-billion dollar business. There is no doubt they could monitor these questions much better. Do you agree?

I'm asking this because I know quite a few women who would try to obscure the reality of the painful situation to make it more palatable for themselves.Do most women do this?

Please, allow me to explain my question.

Many abortion advocates, (Pro-Choicers) believe teaching abortion in stead of abstinence is necessary. The reason being, people, (of various ages) will have sex no matter what they are taught. Including rape, people have sex under either of two circumstances: voluntary or involuntary.

If one believes sex is, (or at least, can be) voluntary, then they must agree that those who voluntarily have sex should be held responsible for their actions. Thus, a man who impregnates a woman must support the woman and child. A man who rapes a woman or child must recieve due punishment for his actions. A woman who is impregnated by consectutal sex must bare responsibilty of her actions.

However, if one believes sex is instinctive, (thus, the urge is uncontrolable) how can he hold one responsible for any sexual situation or the results thereof? Should rapist be institutionalized and not imprisoned? Should pedaphiles be pittied?

Please, explain your answer.

After the spate of reports where suspects of violent or sexual crime have been said to suffer either bi-polar illness (manic depression), unipolar illness (deep chronic depression) or schizophrenia, it would seem every one of them did what he or she is alleged doing because of illness. Do you buy media hype about these illnesses which in reality do not create more violent personalities or behaviors than any in the general population? Why does the media make such a point of noting a suspect's mental illness and never saying that his/her behavior is an aberration even among sufferers, and is not typical of that mental illness? For you among sufferers, as I am, what do you think of this labeling? I'm getting tired of hearing that the first thing mentioned about a suspect is that he is "bi-polar."
