In QI, he said what animals can give birth to either a 'Lili' or a 'Titi', and claims it's a liger.

Ligers (lion and tiger mix) can't actually breed, much like a mule (horse and donkey mix). This is because they are different species and, infact, one way to distinguish between species is the ability to produce fertile offspring.

Just a bit of info!

Night all :)

I was in the yard this morning and spotted an all glossy black snake about 48 inchs long, I saw the white line on the mouth, it was not defined as I thought it would be, when I approached it it did not move, I've done some research, I am in southeast Kansas, the yard has several overgrown ponds, I fear for my 55 lb dog who is not woods wise and very curious as to these type things. Is this fear justified?

A few minutes ago I saw something shimmer hanging in the air.
As i got closer i noticed a spider web from my computer directly towards my lamp and in the middle hanged the tiny spider.
So, I told my parents to find me a middle jar and i put the spider in.
I'll probably take it outside but I don't know if it's safe enough for the spider..

The spider is tiny.
Color: organish/redish and black at the end.
And obviously long legs, I gave you the simplest description.

If anyone can please tell me about this spider or provide me with a website where I may find more information about it.Because, the websites I've been to are mostly about dangerous spiders and so.

:) call me weird, but I enjoy looking at it and observing it making it's web.

If you've ever handled a moth, and to a lesser extent a butterfly, you'll notice they're covered in a fine power that rubs off relatively easily. What is that? And what's it for?

I am home alone and I have no idea where the giant spider is. Except that it is in my living room. That is no food or water in my bed room and it is extremly hot! I have panic attacks when I squish a bug too. Also remember the spider is very large and I dont know where it is.

I have seen these only a couple of times...a GIGANTIC BLACK FLY...when I say 'gigantic', I MEAN IT..we are talking TWO INCHES LONG. I saw it flying around like some kind of black shadow, and thought it was some type of moth, until it landed at the edge of a puddle for a few moments and I managed to get close enough to see it was a FLY, with a head that closely resembled that of a horsefly, with those big hemispherical eyes pressed closely together. It looked like an insect version of Darth Vader! I am in Southern Ontario. Anyone know what these are?
