And he wont be the cute knut will he. Can they stop him growing or make him smaller to keep him cute and selling more toys and lunchboxes?

Unfortunately, nature is notoriously inconsiderate to those who want to stay in childhood, particularly for commercial reasons, such as lunchboxes, merchandise etc (child actors display the same thing).
She has a plan to thwart humans at every turn, by stopping us making money or, even worse, changing the product we bought!
I bought a kitten, and within six months it was a big cat thing, not a cute little fluffball as in the display model. (perhaps it needed a use by date)
I think this breaches my statutory rights.
