I am home alone and I have no idea where the giant spider is. Except that it is in my living room. That is no food or water in my bed room and it is extremly hot! I have panic attacks when I squish a bug too. Also remember the spider is very large and I dont know where it is.

Whatever it is, if it is seriously "palm size" it could be dangerous

If I come get it can I have it? It could be any number of spiders, depending where you live. I once had a pet wolf spider that was almost as big as my palm. I kept it in an aquarium. i found another wolf spider and put it in there. The next day, the big one ate the little one. then a few weeks later I found out the big one was a female. Female wolf spiders carry their eggsack with them....isn't that weird? Needless to say, I didn't want hundreds of wolf spiders around, so I killed it.

If I were you, I'd go hunting for it. Keep a can of bug spray and something to smash it with nearby.

don't worry about it, more than likely it's not the least bit interested in you...well unless it's the palm sized mitrionic spider which is know to frequent living rooms and lives off the blood of mammals...then you may have a problem. one thing it does seek out is rooms that are extremely hot as it grew up in the amazon jungles. perhaps you ought to set out two dishes one with a little honey in it and one with water and turn up the air conditioner. cold air slows them down and the honey and water attract it. once it comes out to drink and eat then toss a large bowl or box over it and put a book or other heavy object on top then get out the raid and spray under a corner of the box. just be very careful when you open your door these spiders are known to be great jumpers.

hehehehehehe....

Lol I am terrified of spiders! I can't squash with bare hands but boy I sure stomp good. Hope you have a STOMPING good time. Relax and go for a walk or read a book as the spider might have gone home to his family after all it's supper time. Best of luck

i sugggest you carry something with you to squish or spray it just incase you see it. If you dont even want to go near it i suggest you throw a heavy book or shoe at it if you see it. Run to the kitchen and bring LOTS of food to your room. Then call you mom or a friend for help.

Get a can of hairspray and spray it to death. It gets all sticky and dies. Then call your favorite bf who isn't a girlyman and have him remove it.

Just don't trust curtains, throws, big puffy pillows, or anything other than clean floor.....the spider is probably squeezed behind one of the floor mouldings or under a couch.
