Looks like a snake, eel. No eyes, breaths air but lives in water also. Mouth (sucker type) bottom of head. Found in pond.

I have heard of this phenomena a lot of times before. But I never found scientific proof for it. So is it possible to lick a frog or a toad and get high? If so, how? Not that I'm going to do it or anything :) I need the answer for my physiology class.
Cheers.

I have to feed my baby fry of Siamese fighters vinegar eels, but I do not have a culture to start with and do not know anybody that can help me with a culture to begin with.

Does anybody know if you can start a culture from scratch with some apple vinegar and a piece of apple?

Please, help me gather information, or recommend me some good web pages about ants, ant hills and entomology...
Thanks in advance...

I know that it's a silly question but i've always wanted to know. For all people know, dinosaurs could have sounded like ducks ("quack"). what ways do they determine that a dinosaur goes "roar"?

Last year I had loads of frog-spawn in my little garden pond which soon hatched into tadpoles but I never saw them develop legs and become frogs. How long does this process take? I have more frog-spawn again this year. Was wondering if there was anything wrong with the water, weather or something else which would prevent them from developing. Am looking for expert advice from someone with experience of this, please.

I was walking in Wyoming last night and came across 4-6 deer. Luckily a police officer drove up and scared them off, but he told me that I was lucky because they are known to attack. What is the proper way to defend against a deer attack? Noise and movements? Running? Putting a Larry The Cable Guy hat on?

I live in Southern New Zealand and last night, not for the first time I might add, I woke up from a strange, hissing or snoring noise coming out of the open fireplace. It was quite regular, but sounded angry.
Does anyone know what animal makes that noise? Could it be a possum? Or some kind of bird, maybe?

I've heard rumors that T-rex are not big predators, but just a big scavenger due to it's weak tiny arms (said by my friend) and other features (if any) that I would love to know. Is that true? If it is support your answer fully plz? and if not, why dont you think so?
