I'd say chop it's head off (that's sad) but it is quick and over with and it'll never know it happened. Horrible but unfortunately it's not like a dog where you can euthanize through a vein. You could still euthanize but the other option besides a vein would be jabbing it through it's chest into its heart which doesn't sound like a fun time for you or it.
Awww.....poor thing. I love animals.

A 12 Ga. shotgun with #6 or #8 shot, thru the head. Death is instantaneous and happens before the brain can even register 'pain'.
