We were driving back to Arizona from San Diego on Interstate 8 and saw a dead animal on the side of the road that looked exactly like a small (about 15 lbs) kangaroo. What could it have been???

I have just found that there are about 50+ tadpoles in my backyard pond. The pond was created by using a plastic liner and has a pump that circulates water through an old-time water pump (the pond is about 5 feet by 3 feet). I have read that you should change the water frequently so that it doesn't get murky and discolored; however, I don't want to remove all of the tadpoles and add fresh water if I don't have to. Will they survive if I don't change the water? Could I just add tap water when the water level falls a bit, or do I need to change ALL of the water? How many tadpoles will survive to become frogs? Any other personal or other information you have about tadpoles and keeping them alive would be greatly appreciated!

I just killed a huge red dragonfly that flew into my room. I feel kinda bad, but it was scary. They make that creepy loud buzzing with the wings, and they look really hideous. What I am wondering, is if dragonflies bite or sting or anything like that? Thank you.

I know bats eat 600 mosquitoes an hour, which makes them good. However, in our new house, bats come out like WILD at dusk, swooping around just over our heads, etc. Do they pose any dangers (even swooping into us?). Please answer quickly, since I'm not sure how long I can keep up this brave act in front of the kids!!!
