The tiger's forepaws are very powerful. Though they are not as powerful as the polar bear's, they still pack a lot of punch. In a well known national park of southern India, there was once a case of a tiger striking a forest guard on his face which resulted in instant death of that unfortunate man - he had strayed too close to the cubs of a tigress unknowingly. So, tigers can kill a lot of animals, possibly upto large deer and possible buffalo. However, mega herbivores like the elephant and rhino might escape with a strong headache. :)

Slow Natives,Now Indians ware a face mask on the backs of their heads,with large white eye's,as tigers will not attack if they think your looking at them.Just don't bet your life on it though.
