why if it's so cold is there no snow? I think it's good that it is so cold...it kills off nasty bugs and viruses... but the weather forecasters talk like it's a big surprise and there is something wrong with it. But where's the snow?

What I am wondering is why do cars parked in the carport when it is cold outside not get frost on thier windows while cars parked in the open do? Even cars parked a few feet away still get frost while the cars under the carport stay clear.

you could press a button for it to start snowing, you could press a button to make it to be 77 degrees on Christmas day.

Have storm clouds fallen out of favour? Now rising air cools and produces towering cumulus and cumulonimbus clouds. Are clouds not now given credit for the production of hurricanes? At one time it was thought hurricanes couldn't start without strong clusters of thunderstorms drifting over warm ocean waters! Now it seems that the hurricane produces the clouds and not vice versa. Right or wrong all that is needed are the details.

Im in northern Indiana, close to Michigan ( I live in the town where Notre Dame University resides ). We've had lots of snow today. My son and I were playing in it all morning. We're said to be getting between 7'-12' inches of snow. Anyone else enjoying/disliking the snow?

Okay, so I live in Southeastern Michigan. We are having a huge snowstrom right now. There's about 10 inches of snow on the ground, and they're expecting another 3-4 by tomorrow morning. It is soooo windy, so there are a ton of snow drifts.
Do you think there's a good chance of me having a snow day tomorrow? If you need more weather info, go to a weather site and check the forecast for Ann Arbor, MI.
Thanks everyone!
