If it's hot outside I put the a/c on 78
if it's cold outside I put the heat on 70

Btw, I live in south Florida....had the a/c on last night and heat on tonight LOL

We never turn the heat or air conditioning on in my house and always leave a door open. I live in a relatively warm climate, but the temperature inside the house varies from as low as 50F in the winter to as high as 90F in the summer. It's pretty cold right now but you just wear more clothes.

cold climate - natural gas furnance set at 60F - day and night.

Turtlenecks and sweaters during day - Electric blanket at night

It has to be really hot, like above 90F, before we turn on AC in summer, rarely happens
