It seems to tend to get out of sync with my local weather channel's readings, but then again my local weather channel takes it readings over 15 miles away. In general, how accurate are these devices for predicting weather?

If it feels like 108 shouldn't they just say the temperature is 108. By the way, this is really happening today in Atlanta. Too hot to breathe.

Last night I was watching tv and saw tons of lighting outside. It was non-stop and there was also thunder. So I checked the radar to see what was coming--and there was nothing on the radar! The closest storms were probably 100 miles away. I thought maybe it was a fluke and maybe the radar wasn't updated so I checked a different radar and it didn't show anything either.

How could there have been thunder and lightning if the radar was clear?

Rather than the chances of getting a sun burn on a dry sun shiny day? I seem to be easily getting sun burn here in alabama with the high humidity, as with in sandiego california, where dry heat is the norm, i hardly ever got burnt and it could be like 100 degrees out, as to where here I seem to be easily burnt.
