Its not going to rain in Bristol on Saturday, I checked the forecast, it will be foggy in the morning then sunny!

A bit of guesswork is required. The miserable summer we've had so far is largely the fault of the Jet Stream which this year is much further south than normal and bringing in a succession of low pressure systems off the Atlantic.
An area of high pressure is building to the south of the UK and is expected to head north. Come the weekend there could well be a collision in the skies over southern England as low and high pressure, warm and cold front, collide with each other.
The outcome of this collision determines what happens next, in any event there won't be much in the way of rain, at worst there will be frequent showers and sunny spells. Most likely at this stage appears to be broken showers and sunny spells. Temps will be around the seasonal average - approx 20°C, very little in the way of wind.

Are you in Bristol for the balloon festival this Saturday? I'm in Bristol - but going away Saturday to Devon - so fingers crossed it doesn't rain in Bristol Saturday or in Devon Saturday!!!

after a year of living in bristol (im at the uni) i have come to the following conclusion, if im in bristol, it will be raining, so its lucky for you im in the new forest. it will be loverly and sunny with a light breeze and the occasional cloud to provide a bit of relief from the sun
