I know the basics - The lowest bulb floating at the top is the temperature. I've put mine on my desk here at work (It's only 12 inches or so) and 3 bulbs are at the very top and 4 are on the very bottom. There is no staggering. How can I determine the lowest floating bulb when all 3 are at the very top (and I mean the VERY top - all 3 tips are at the water's surface)?

At work everyone goes on about how great/hot this summer (UK) is gonna be. I for one aren't a fan of the sweltering nights tossing and turning in bed cos of the heat. Sweating all day long and feeling the heavy heat bear down like some goliath thing. This year I wanna go away somewhere cool and comfortable.
Am I just being a miserable g1t or do others out there share these thoughts?

It's funny the day after mentioned ending the hurricane season,n.a.s.a. reports having problems with an "old sattlelite" that tracks circulation of storms.N.A.S.A.your sattlelite is working fine,so i'm going to hold off ending the season for now to make sure that you know it's working fine. What you are about to start up in the gulf the media doesn't know about yet,but i do! So start your third system, make sure yr sattlelite is working fine...then i'm going to show you what i'm going to do.

I am on the top floor of a 6 story building in Brooklyn, New York. The other night we had a major thunder and lightening storm. I could see the lightning outside my window. It was raging for most of the night. I was wondering what the chances were of it actually hitting and going thru my window? and how I could prevent it from happening.
