Around 8:30pm.
Sept 20th is pretty much on the equinox. So theoritically the sun will set at 6pm at Greenwich (GMT). Lancashire is a couple of degrees west of London and summer time will still apply then so let's say 7:30pm for sunset, just to be safe.
In september, I'd add at least an hour to wait for darkness at that latitude. So 8:30pm sounds like a good bet.
If the weather is bad you could expect it to be dark earlier!

According to the National Weather Service, for that time period, the sun should be setting about 7:13 pm, however the further North you go, the later is set.

the sun will set at almost exactly 7 oclock as it is one day away from the equinox.
summer time is still in operation.
Dusk, when it is half light will probaly last between half and 1 hour at those latitudes
so 7.30 to 8.00 it will get dark
