I live in New York City and this is the first year from my memory than not a single snowflake has fallen. It's so weird. Temperatures are above average every day for about a month now. We're expecting 62 degrees on Saturday when the normal high temp here should be around 38. What the hell is going on?
Is it going to get cooler?
Can we jump to conclusions and blame it on global warming?
I'm scared.

Its been seasonably warm this winter (hardly ever below 35), We havent even had snow and its freaking January. The question is what do think about spring/summer? Is this the beginning of some serious warming?

Please do not post if you are not scholarly about this process. This thread should be about the global warming "theory" that the media has attached with it. Please do not talk about the incoming shortwave radiation process, and outgoing longwave radiation as this is NOT global warming. This is the GREENHOUSE effect. I just want to know why people have not educated themselves on this topic but yet continue to complain that this year is warmer due to global warming and that hurricane was stronger due to global warming and that I dont have any snow due to global warming when in fact that if they read about the weather just a little bit they would know that the synoptic scale weather pattern has kept a primarily zonal pattern across the US since early December which his kept most artic air masses bottled up at the poles.

I worry so much when I wash glasses. I used luke warm water then hot water, and thats just to wash the glasses, then I leave them to dry for some time before I put them in the fridge.

I often see small airplanes across the clear blue sky leaving sort of smoke/fog forming a line spliting the air. The airplanes go back and forth and in time the sky is not as beautiful as it was with those smog spreading all over.

Are they trying to create clouds in dry weather to induce rain? For what its worth I hate see my clear blue sky ruined.
