Is it really hotter outside now than in the 70's?

I used to play outside all day in the sun and loved it. My kids totally cannot hang and they always complain, "It's too hot out". whaddya think?

Can it thunder while it is snowing?

I'm sure thunder has something to do with heat, but I don't know.

Why do the weather alarms sound in Illinois?

I thought they were only intended to warn of Tornadoes yet, I hear them all of the time (Including the weekly tests on Tuesday mornings). Isn't the overuse dangerous in case of a real emergency?

When will it snow in New Jersey?

Today, January 1st, is my last day of vacation from school and so far I have nothing. Nada. Zip. No snow. It's a little rainy but otherwise a "nice" 53 degrees. Where the HECK IS MY SNOW? Anyone know the snow forecast for Jersey?
