We know that if a place is too dry or too humid it is not very comfortable to live in. What is the optimum humidity level? Is there anywhere in the world which demonstrates this level?

We keep having abnormal temperatures in the 50's this year and it looks like they will continue for the next 10 days. I really miss the snow.

In the movie, The Day After Tomorrow, there were a lot of storms happening and one of the really bad storms was snow. Is the movie supposed to show the effects of global warming (maybe in an exaggerated way?) because I noticed this winter is warm and there is absolutely no snow at all and I was also wondering if no snow in the eastern coast of the USA and maybe other parts of the world is the result of global warming.

Last night (news years day, about 5:30pm) my girlfriend and I were driving home, on a long and lonesome road, when out of no where a flash and an amazing bright white light from the treetops. I witnessed it appear from a circle of white light that immediately completely engulfed our surroundings in a white light - but only for a split second, and then blackness.

we want to know more about what it may have been, as it was a white light, was it lightning? there was no thunder, and no more lightning followed. no flames of burning trees. just darkness.

if it was an electrical pylon and not lightning, would it have been more blue or purple?

about a 1 mile on, we then drove into a very heavy rain storm, which only lasted for about 2 miles.

i don't think we were abducted...

Hi, I live in New York and currently its 45-55 degrees out average. Do you think it's too cold to wear knee length shorts/carpis? I mean I saw people working at a store wearing the same kind of shorts.

Why isn't it winter? It is supposed to be in the 50s all this week, even getting to near 60! To me, this is insane. Where did the cold weather go? I would love to have the weather Denver is having move its way here to the east coast.
