You can't "sense" global warming. It is definitely not something that you can look at one day or one week or even one season and say wow, this December was 10 degrees warmer than last season, it must be global warming.
Right now, the eastern US is in a situation where the jet stream has not dropped as far as it usually does by this time of year. The jet stream controls a lot of the weather and temperatures for us. Why has it been behaving differently this year than on average? I can't answer that. But, to attibute it to global warming is not right, since the average temperature of the earth is what is ultimately important, not regional, seasonal variations.

Weather is one of those things that although we understand some of it, it's doubtful we'll ever understand it completely or be able to predict it with pinpoint accuracy. This is made even worse because of the green house gases that are being emitted, especially by developing nations that are trying to catch up to the "developed" world and therefore have no or little environmental controls in place. In addition, we chop down a lot of forests which are natural "sponges" of carbon dioxide, along with polluting the waterways and destroying of wetlands which are by far the most important ecosystems on earth to control contaminants. In addition, it's not just global warming...it's global climate changes. In some places it's getting colder, drying, or wetter. Some of this has to do with pollution, others due to destruction of vegetation or changes to the ocean currents. Also, the U.S. is one of the worst, because although we only have about 300,000 people, we use as many resources if not more than China and India, each of which has about 1 billion people! Our ecological footprint is just so huge!

Overpopulation. The more people there are causes more smog more aerosols pesticides and so on and so on. Cutting down all the trees to make way for homes. The earths ozone layer has a huge hole in it. Not to mention the universe is changing. Global warming. You can good reading materials at the library.

Climate change due to the way we mistreat our environment through pollution, factories cutting down trees etc.. We are destroying our planet and everyone in the world needs to make positive changes to promote a healthier environment before it is really too late!
